The customer had previously been engaged in cross-border clothing sales on Amazon and eBay for 3 years, and encountered two unavoidable problems: firstly, the platform had high commission rates, deducting 15% -20% of commission for each order, resulting in a significant compression of profits; Secondly, customer data cannot be obtained, and the platform does not allow customers' email and phone numbers, making it impossible to make repeat purchases and promote the brand. Last year, they attempted to create a private domain and found that guiding customers to add WeChat on third-party platforms could easily lead to punishment, so they decided to create their own independent website. When looking for us, it is important to have a website that supports multiple languages and currencies for payment, connects with overseas logistics, and collects customer data. Additionally, the website should have a fast loading speed, as overseas users are sensitive to loading time.

During the first communication, the client asked whether to use domestic or foreign servers and what documents are required for website registration. These two questions are also the most concerning for clients when building overseas e-commerce websites. Regarding servers, we recommend using foreign servers to our clients, mainly nodes in the United States and Europe, because our clients' main markets are in Europe and America. Foreign servers can enable local users to access faster and avoid slow loading and lagging due to cross-border networks. It is also convenient to interface with various overseas interfaces; The core functions are divided into five parts: firstly, multi language switching, supporting three languages: English, French, and German, and automatically recommending corresponding languages based on the user's location; The second is multi currency payment, which is integrated with PayPal, Stripe, and local credit card payments, supports settlement in US dollars, euros, and pounds, and automatically converts according to real-time exchange rates; The third is overseas logistics docking, connecting with DHL, FedEx, and local postal services, allowing users to view logistics progress in real-time after placing an order; The fourth is customer data management, which collects users' email and purchase records, and supports pushing personalized discounts to different users; The fifth is AI recommendation, which automatically recommends similar styles of clothing based on users' browsing and purchasing records. We have also used similar AI recommendation technology in our previous overseas e-commerce platforms, which can improve users' order rates.

After the launch of this website, customers not only no longer have to pay high platform commissions, but also have accumulated more than 5000 self owned customers. Through email push promotions, the repurchase rate has increased by 25% compared to when on third-party platforms. In fact, the core of building an independent overseas e-commerce website is to help customers take the initiative and build their own brand, rather than relying on the platform. In the future, this website will also add an "AI virtual fitting" function, where users can upload their height and weight to see the effect of the clothing on the upper body. This is also the trend of cross-border clothing e-commerce now. The image recognition technology we accumulated when developing an AI intelligent warehouse management system can be used here.
